Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams within our Retail locations. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist's supervision, following SOPs and contributing to safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and empathetic patient care.

The role emphasizes training through a comprehensive roadmap, participation in immunization services when allowed by law, and the flexibility to travel to stores to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
• Operate according to SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by state law
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by the business
• Comply with federal, state, local laws and CVS policies
• Deliver additional patient health care services where required

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Valid intern and/or technician licensure (in process)
