Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking third-year Pharmacy Interns to support pharmacy teams across our retail locations. You will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists to deliver safe, high-quality patient care and to develop your clinical and operational skills.

The role emphasizes following SOPs, assisting with immunizations, patient counseling, and collaboration within a high‑performing team.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to assist pharmacists and technicians in patient care.
• Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures for safe prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service across in-store channels (pick-up, drive-thru, phone).
• Counsel patients and collect medical history as directed by licensed pharmacists.
• Assist with immunizations and other clinical services as trained and allowed by law.
• Support training and mentoring of pharmacy staff.
• Perform inventory and returns-to-stocks tasks per leadership direction.
