Job summary

CVS Health in the United States offers a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our retail stores. Interns support pharmacy teams, helping ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment while gaining hands-on experience through a structured training roadmap under licensed pharmacists.

This part-time position emphasizes patient care, immunizations, and expanding clinical and technical knowledge, with opportunities to travel between stores in the market and take on increasing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ACPE‑accredited college enrollment required.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on pharmacy operations and patient care.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflows to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by law.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
