Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy Internship is seeking a participant to support the pharmacy team and learn patient care under pharmacist supervision. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, while delivering a distinctive customer experience.

As an intern, you will learn to comply with state and federal regulations, participate in medication counseling, and assist with inventory and store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in entering, third party processing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions.
• Provide patient counseling and health services within state scope.
• Adhere to Pharmacy Code of Conduct and Good Faith Dispensing.
