Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacist and pharmacy team in delivering excellent patient care and a distinctive customer experience. You will learn to use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and to process prescriptions under supervision, while adhering to state and federal regulations.

You will engage with customers, help maintain store operations, assist with inventory, and participate in trainings to expand knowledge of healthcare services.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and team to provide patient care and a positive experience.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Help maintain a delightful customer experience and resolve customer questions.
• Support pharmacy operations, inventory, and cash handling per SOP.
• Report prescription errors and follow QA processes.
