CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in Illinois to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role within our CVS pharmacy teams. Under the direction of a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap designed to teach you how to contribute to safe, efficient operations and outstanding patient service.

Qualifications

ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment
Support pharmacy team in maintaining SOP adherence and patient safety
Contribute to positive patient experiences with empathy and care
Counsel patients and collect relevant medical history when appropriate under supervision
Participate in immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law
Support inventory activities and documentation as directed by leadership
Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores as needed by business
