Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in Indiana stores. You will learn to apply didactic pharmacy school knowledge in real-world practice under a preceptor, contributing to pharmacy operations and patient care.

You will gain hands‑on experience with SOPs, medication dispensing, patient interactions, and opportunities to assist with immunizations and other services under supervision. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and growth within the CVS Health pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists and technicians manage and improve patient health.
• Assist in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and drive‑thru operations.
• Counsel and answer patient questions when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Support immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by state regulations.
• Complete basic inventory tasks and assist in maintaining store operations.
