Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. Under a preceptor's guidance, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap and gain hands-on experience across store operations as you prepare for a Pharmacist role.

This role emphasizes patient safety, SOP compliance, and empathetic service as you assist with dispensing, counseling, immunizations, and other pharmacy duties under licensed supervision.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs and assist Pharmacists and Technicians with daily workflows.
• Assist with immunizations, counseling, and patient care under supervision.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate dispensing under licensed supervision.
• Travel to stores in the market to support shifts as needed.
