Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide comprehensive medication consultation, compounding and dispensing within regulatory guidelines. You will support efficient store operations and help optimize pharmacy financials and inventory while delivering excellent customer care.

The role includes counseling patients on medication use, potential interactions, and OTC options, and performing immunizations and preventive health services as needed.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in state boards within district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and insurance questions.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with Good Faith Dispensing and state/federal regulations.
