Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within district guidelines within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and alternatives.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management as workload allows.
• Ensures pharmacy operates in compliance with regulations and company policies; assists with workflow and opening/closing duties.
• Uses pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and suggests enhancements to improve productivity.
• Follows up with insurers and providers to resolve payment issues and clarify prescriptions.
• Provides immunizations and preventive health services (e.g., flu shots, diabetes awareness).
• Maintains relationships with local medical community and participates in community outreach.
