Walgreens is seeking a post-graduate pharmacy intern to engage in supervised activities, provide customer-focused consultations, and support immunizations and preventive care services. • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
• FPGEC certification.
• Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy and willingness to obtain licensure within required timeframe.

Responsabilidades

• Counsel patients on proper use, potential side effects and interactions, and refer to medical provider as needed.
• Perform pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Review, interpret and dispense prescribed medications in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems and assist with workflow, inventory, and customer service enhancements.
