Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and contraindications.
• Performs dispensing and medication management per regulations and Walgreens policies.
• Ensures accurate processing of insurance claims and follows up with providers as needed.
• Provides immunizations and other preventive health services requested by customers.
• Assists in staffing, training and promoting a positive customer experience.
