Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Florida is seeking a third-year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in CVS Retail locations, helping to deliver high-quality patient care while preparing for increasing responsibilities.

The role emphasizes following SOPs, processing prescriptions, counseling patients, and assisting with immunizations under licensed supervision, with flexibility to travel across the market as needed.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists and Technicians
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Counsel patients and collect medical history information under supervision
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers as allowed by state law
• Assist with inventory activities and cycles counts as directed by leadership
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be receptive to feedback
• Travel to stores in the market to support scheduling and business needs
• Comply with laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law and training
