Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within CVS Pharmacy teams. You will work under a preceptor to complete a training roadmap covering core learning experiences, ensuring prescriptions are filled promptly and accurately while delivering caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and technicians by following SOPs to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions.
• Provide counseling and answer medical questions under supervision.
• Support immunization services and point-of-care testing as allowed.
• Maintain inventory activities and support store operations.
