Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
• FPGEC certification.
• Intern permit/certificate from the respective State Board of Pharmacy.
• Willingness to obtain licensure within 45 days of intern hours.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, potential side effects and drug interactions; advises on generics and OTC products.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets and dispenses prescribed medications.
• Maintains compliance with regulations and company policies; supports pharmacy workflow and inventory management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited University outside the United States

Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC)

Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy

Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days of internship hours

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days
