Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Pharm D degree before start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance to regulations and company policies; supports workflow and shift duties.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and proposes enhancements to improve productivity.
• Processes insurance claims accurately and follows up with payers and providers.
• Performs immunizations, wellness services and diabetes awareness as part of preventive care.
