Walgreens in Michigan is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide pharmacy consulting, compounding, dispensation, review and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines and company policies.

You will enhance customer experience, support workflow, perform immunizations, patient consultations, drug interactions reviews, and collaborate with physicians and the local medical community to promote health services.

Qualificações

• Willingness to obtain Pharm D degree before start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and generics.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and adheres to Good Faith Dispensing.
• Opens/closes the pharmacy and manages shift changes.
• Processes insurance claims and handles third-party audits.
• Provides immunizations and preventive health services.
