Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; FPGEC certification required for foreign graduates.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in applicable states within the district within 45 days.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy, referring to a medical provider as needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets and dispenses prescribed medications according to workload and regulations.
• Ensures pharmacy operates in compliance with regulations, policies, and standards; supports efficient workflow and inventory management.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, registers, automation, StoreNET) and proposes enhancements to boost productivity.
