Job summary

Sentara Health Plans is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Financial & Analytics Analyst to join our remote team in the United States. This full-time role collaborates with Finance, Analytics, IT and Pharmacy to translate data into actionable insights and drive performance across the Pharmacy function.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
2+ years in Database Management or Data Analysis.
2+ years experience in Managed Care or Pharmacy/PBM data.
SQL (intermediate–advanced); writing queries from scratch preferred.
Excel (intermediate–advanced) for data manipulation and reporting.
Experience with datasets, table relationships, and data flow across systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Liaise between Finance, Analytics, IT and Pharmacy to align data for reporting.
Develop expertise in data content and business logic used for Pharmacy reporting.
Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders across the organization.
Gather requirements, perform analysis, support development/testing of processes.
Document applications, data and technologies used by the Pharmacy Department.
