Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services in San Diego, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions, label, scan, and finalize orders under the pharmacist's verification.

You will maintain a clean workspace, follow HIPAA and regulatory requirements, and support daily operations including packaging, stock, and handling of returns.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of brand name/generic medications.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Detail-focused with analytical problem-solving skills.
• Able to physically perform light lifting.
• Able to work various shifts and day.

Responsibilities

• Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (pre-pack racks).
• Accuracy check of final preparation before presenting to the pharmacist.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently and in a timely manner, under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Assist in pre-packing frequently ordered medications; label and stock as needed during low-volume times.
• Package materials and products manually.
• Follow HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain clean/organized workstation areas and replenish stock as needed.
