Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred, long-term care experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull/pick medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
• Process returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Pre-pack frequently ordered medications; label and stock as needed.
• Package materials and products manually.
• Follow HIPAA and regulatory requirements; maintain clean workspace.
• Alert pharmacist on duty to any scanning issues; adhere to policies.
