Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services of Illinois LLC is hiring a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions, label, scan, and finalize orders for pharmacist verification in a fast-paced setting. You will maintain an organized workspace, support daily operations, and ensure regulatory compliance across long-term care and specialty pharmacy environments.

The role requires a High School diploma, state-registered pharmacy technician license, and prior pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician license/certifications required by state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull/pick medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in processing returned drugs per procedure.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and restock as needed.
• Follow HIPAA and safety regulations; report scanning issues.
• Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required.
