Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions, including picking, labeling, scanning and final preparation for pharmacist verification. You will help maintain a well-organized workspace and ensure compliance with regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, pharmacy technician licenses/certifications, and prior pharmacy experience; you must read, write and understand English, and be able to lift light loads.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of brand name/generic medications.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; licenses/certifications required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred, LTC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull/pick medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and disposal per procedure.
• Pre-pack frequently ordered medications and label/stock as needed.
