Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers via inbound and outbound calls; uses outbound dialer system.
• Assesses customer need for additional products/services.
• Assesses customer compliance with physician orders.
• Answers questions and educates customers about products/services.
• Documents calls in computerized record keeping system.
• Enters customer orders in computerized system.
• Verifies and updates demographic information in records.
• Reads and analyzes documents such as patient orders.
• Understands pharmacy prescription terminology.
• Helps train employees.
• Calculates figures and amounts for frequency and doses dispensed.
• Follows oral and written instructions.
