Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

1. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
2. Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice by using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, in accordance with regulations.

Customer Experience

1. Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
2. Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits, to deliver a delightful experience.

Operations

1. Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, recommends products, and assists with locating items.
2. Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and assists customers with OTC products.
3. Maintains store cleanliness, inventory, and merchandising, and manages merchandise pricing and stocking.
4. Supports pharmacy activities by entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting pharmacists with workflow and scheduling.
5. Reports prescription errors immediately and complies with pharmacy policies and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
6. Handles telephone inquiries, processes third-party claims, and performs clerical duties as directed.
7. Supports inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals, and files claims for warehouse discrepancies.
8. Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products and constructs displays for promotions and seasons.
9. Assists with food product placement, stock rotation, and store cleanliness.
10. Provides customer service in the photo area, including passport photos and promotional products, and manages web pick-up orders.
11. Maintains store appearance, complies with policies, and completes assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

1. Maintains PTCB certification and completes ongoing training and education to stay updated in healthcare and pharmacy practices.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
