Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.).

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
• Recommends items for sale and suggests trade-up or companion products.
• Operates the cash register, processes transactions, handles returns, refunds, and exchanges, and assists customers in locating products.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, manages inventory, and ensures proper pricing and stocking.
• Supports pharmacy operations by entering patient and drug information accurately, assisting in prescription filling, and verifying medication correctness and interactions.
• Reports prescription errors immediately and follows company policies regarding pharmacy safety and quality standards.
• Handles non-pharmacist calls, processes third-party claims, and performs clerical duties as directed.
• Supports inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals, and maintains compliance with asset protection policies.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products and maintains store displays and product placement according to policies.
• Provides photo services, manages web order pickups, and maintains store cleanliness and appearance.
• Follows all company policies, maintains respectful coworker relationships, and completes assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

• Earns and maintains PTCB certification or relevant state certification/registration.
• Participates in training, completes continuing education, and stays updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
