Job Responsibilities
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist under supervision, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, in accordance with regulations.
Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure satisfaction.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, and efficient service; recommends products and assists in locating items.
- Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges; maintains store cleanliness and inventory records.
- Supports pharmacy activities such as entering patient info, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
- Reports prescription errors immediately and adheres to company policies, including pharmacy error protocols and Good Faith Dispensing.
- Handles calls, processes third-party claims, and supports inventory management and store display setups.
- Maintains compliance with laws regarding regulated products and assists with food and product placement as per policies.
- Provides photo services, web order fulfillment, and store maintenance.
- Follows all policies, maintains respectful relationships, and completes assigned tasks.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and participates in ongoing training and continuing education.
Additional Requirements
- Must be fluent in English (except Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
