• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations. Responsible for using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and suggests trade-up or related products.
• Processes transactions, handles returns, refunds, and exchanges, and assists customers in locating products.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, takes inventory, and maintains records.
• Utilizes pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, fills prescriptions accurately, verifies medicines, and checks for interactions. Supports pharmacy workflow and reports prescription errors immediately.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products, constructs displays, and assists with stock management.
• Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photos and promotional products.
• Handles web order pickups and supports store maintenance and cleanliness.
• Follows all company policies and maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
• Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: Six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, knowledge of inventory control, PTCB certification.
