Job Description

The job involves providing a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including registering sales, assisting pharmacists under supervision, and maintaining store operations.

Customer Experience

• Engage with customers and patients, greet them, offer assistance, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items, handle transactions, process returns and refunds, and assist customers in locating products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves and counters, take inventory, and perform merchandising tasks.
• Support pharmacy operations by entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting with workflow scheduling.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to company policies, including pharmacy code of conduct and Good Faith Dispensing policies.
• Handle non-urgent phone calls, process third-party claims, and support inventory management activities.
• Ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products and assist in store displays and product placement.
• Provide photo services, web order fulfillment, and store maintenance.
• Follow all company policies and maintain respectful coworker relationships.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintain PTCB certification and participate in ongoing training and education.

Additional Requirements

• Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
