- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
Pharmacy Assistance
- Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice in accordance with regulations. Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
Customer Engagement
- Greets customers and patients, offers assistance, resolves issues, and answers questions to ensure positive experiences.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommends products and assists in locating items.
- Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges; maintains cleanliness and organization of shelves and counters.
- Utilizes pharmacy systems for entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and checking for interactions.
- Reports prescription errors immediately and adheres to company policies, including Good Faith Dispensing and Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
- Handles telephone inquiries, processes third-party claims, and supports inventory management activities.
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products; constructs displays and manages product placement and stock rotation.
- Provides photo services, web pick-up, and assists with store maintenance and cleanliness.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
Additional requirements include fluency in English (excluding Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
