We are currently seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team.

This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.

Pay for this role is $15.50/hr

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6 months experience in an office environment
  • 6 months experience using a computer with Microsoft Windows PC applications
  • 6 months experience working from home
  • High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities:

  • Providing front-line phone customer service to policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, and internal customers, with previous insurance industry experience related to life insurance and annuities
  • Handling between 75 to 100 calls daily, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting service standards
  • Communicating effectively and professionally to resolve questions and issues
  • Maintaining knowledge of insurance products, services, and processes
  • Collaborating with management and team members to address service issues
  • Having a dedicated quiet workspace for calls while working from home

Additional requirements include:

  • Having a working device (cell phone or tablet) for 2-Factor Authentication
  • Successfully completing call center training and demonstrating proficiency
  • Passing a drug screen and background checks, including education and employment verification

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm CT, with Saturday mornings (rotating) 8:00 am - 12:00 pm CT

Remote Working and Technology Requirements:

  • Providing own high-speed internet (≥50 Mbps), wired Ethernet connection required
  • Care and security of provided equipment (computer, headset)
  • Adherence to technical support procedures and protocols

Remote Workspace Standards:

  • Dedicated, professional workspace with minimal distractions and consistent location
  • Work environment must be quiet, isolated, and used exclusively for job duties
  • Notification to management required for workspace changes
