Job summary

You will operate the cash register, process prescriptions with pharmacy systems, and support pharmacy staff with inventory and customer service tasks. Fluency in English and schedule flexibility are required; retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription counting/weighing.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues for a positive experience.
• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommends items and handles purchases, returns, exchanges, and other transactions.
• Performs duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager/Staff Pharmacist, including entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and assisting with workflow.
