Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens preferred.
• Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring drugs; verify accuracy.
• Enter patient and drug information using pharmacy systems; check for drug interactions.
• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient checkout service at the register.
• Support inventory management and maintain store displays and merchandising.
• Handle clerical duties and assist with pharmacy-related workflow.
