Walgreens in Fallston, MD seeks a customer-focused associate to support pharmacy operations and in-store services. You will greet customers, assist with product questions, operate the cash register, and help the pharmacist under supervision with prescription processing.

This role emphasizes accuracy, friendly service, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Prior retail experience, math skills, and computer familiarity are a plus; PTCB certification is preferred.

Competenze

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

• Assists pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow and entering patient and drug information.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; checks in and prices merchandise.
• Performs duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist including processing prescriptions and verifying medicine.
• Handles telephone calls not requiring pharmacist attention and processes manual claims for third party prescription services.
• Assists with inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
• Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
