Job summary

Walgreens in Sterling Heights, MI seeks a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate to support pharmacists, assist with prescriptions, and deliver friendly, efficient service to customers.

You will handle the cash register, stock shelves, and maintain accuracy in medication handling while contributing to a compliant patient-focused pharmacy environment. PTCB certification preferred and six months of retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision with prescriptions and pharmacy duties.
• Register sales at the cash register and provide courteous checkout service.
• Maintain counters, shelves and merchandising; process returns and exchanges as needed.
• Support pharmacy operations including inventory management and entry of patient/drug information.
