Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to deliver courteous customer service, assist pharmacists, and manage daily store operations in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires fluency in English, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and at least six months of retail experience along with PTCB certification. You will handle prescriptions, support inventory, and maintain a clean, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Good math skills, including counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and patients to ensure a positive experience at checkout and in-store services.
• Assist pharmacists under supervision, process prescriptions, and review safety checks.
• Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, voids, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized counters and shelves; manage pricing and inventory records.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and staff with inventory management and workflow improvements.
• Provide customer service in the photo area and assist with other Walgreens services.
