Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, manage prescriptions, and deliver excellent customer service at the checkout. You will help with inventory, pricing, and pharmacy operations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.

The role requires English fluency and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends. Prior retail experience and PTCB certification are preferred to support efficient service in-store and at the pharmacy

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling, including counting and weighing.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and maintaining patient drug information.
• Provide courteous, friendly checkout service and assist customers with products and services.
• Register customer purchases, handle returns, exchanges, and refunds as needed.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves; assist with inventory and pricing as directed.
• Support pharmacy operations, including inventory management and adherence to pharmacy policy and quality standards.
