Job summary

Walgreens is hiring in Seattle for roles supporting pharmacy operations and frontline customer service. The position involves greeting customers, processing purchases, and assisting the pharmacist under supervision with prescription processing and patient information entry.

The ideal candidate will have strong English communication, willingness to work evenings and weekends, and basic math and computer skills. Prior retail or Walgreens experience is preferred, with PTCB certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at checkout and assists pharmacist under supervision in dispensing.
• Counts, counts, and pours medication under pharmacist supervision; ensures accuracy and checks for potential interactions.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised; handles inventory, pricing, and stock rotation.
• Processes prescriptions, enters patient and drug information in pharmacy systems, and assists with workflow.
• Reports prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adheres to company policies and the Quality Improvement Program.
• Performs duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist and Store Manager including inventory management activities.
• Provides customer service in the photo area and assists with exterior and interior store maintenance.
