Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists pharmacists in filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring and verifying medicines under supervision.
• Performs duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist and Store Manager including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information.
• Handles telephone calls that do not require pharmacist attention and processes manual claims for third party prescription services.
• Assists with inventory management activities and maintaining store appearance and cleanliness.
• Provides customer service in the photo area and assumes web pick-up responsibilities.
• Adheres to company policies and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
