Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to support daily pharmacy operations, greet customers, stock supplies, handle cash, and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly with care and professionalism.

You will assist in preparing prescriptions, coordinate with pharmacists, and help with vaccine administration where certified, while maintaining patient confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma and related experience are preferred; pre-employment drug screen applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Over six months up to one year of related experience preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines.
• Able to handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Assist with stock, orders, and general pharmacy operations to keep the store clean and organized.
• Assist in processing prescriptions and prepare medicine for delivery or pickup under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to pharmacy policies and state/federal regulations.
