Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to join its Pharmacy team. You will support day-to-day operations, greet customers, assist with prescriptions, stock supplies, and handle cash transactions with care and professionalism.

This role emphasizes accuracy, discretion with private medical information, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Vaccination certification may be required where applicable, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Over six months up to one year of similar or related experience preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to callers, including taking refill orders.
• Stock and organize pharmacy supplies, and keep the department well stocked.
• Prepare paperwork and compile medicines for delivery orders and mail-outs as requested by the manager.
• Coordinate nursing home medicines and assist with vaccine administration where certified.
• Maintain confidentiality of patients' private medical information and work as part of a team to satisfy customers.
