Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months to one year of related experience preferred.
• Proven attention to detail and accuracy in handling prescriptions and patient information.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Answer the telephone promptly and assist customers with refills.
• Gather patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Stock and stockroom upkeep of supplies; process invoices and cash transactions.
• Prepare paperwork and medicines for delivery orders and mail-outs as needed.
• Coordinate nursing home medicines when required and assist in other store areas as needed.
• Administer vaccines as allowed by law and with applicable certification.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
