Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Any previous comparable experience
• Experience with customer service, including registries, phone, and cashier roles
• Experience with inventory control in a retail environment

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud
• Follow safety and sanitation regulations and notify management of unsafe conditions
• Create a welcoming environment for customers
• Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer areas
• Follow company guidelines on computerized inventory management and control of non-legend drugs
• Manage inventory, including shelf maintenance
• Answer phones and handle inquiries appropriately
• Promote sales and services to customers and staff
• Adhere to guidelines on accepting vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrinkage policies
• Operate the cash register following all policies, including handling electronic transactions and cash/check payments
• Provide accurate and efficient product dispensing, in accordance with state law
• Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient information
