Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to handle confidential information
Desired Qualifications:
  • Previous relevant experience
  • Experience in customer service, including cashiering, phone, and registry operations
  • Experience with inventory control in a retail setting
Responsibilities:
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, reporting illegal activities such as theft or fraud.
  • Follow safety and sanitation regulations, identifying unsafe conditions and notifying management.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers, making them feel valued and appreciated.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations and customer areas.
  • Follow company guidelines on inventory management and control, including non-legend drugs.
  • Handle phone inquiries and promote sales and services.
  • Adhere to policies on vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrink guidelines.
  • Operate cash register and process transactions securely, including electronic payments.
  • Deliver excellent customer service during product and prescription dispensing, where applicable.
  • Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient and customer confidentiality.
  • Support health and wellness initiatives.
  • Work effectively in high-paced, sometimes stressful environments.
  • Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
  • Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and seniors.
