Job summary

H-E-B Pharmacy in Austin, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Care Representative to join a team delivering exceptional patient care. You will collaborate with Pharmacists and Technicians, handle prescription intake, counseling referrals, and Rx processing while ensuring accuracy and patient safety.

You will participate in vaccine scheduling, Rx screening events, and MTM initiatives, manage Will-Call duties, and uphold HIPAA/privacy and SOP integrity in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail; experience in pharmacy a plus.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy tasks, RXEVO, register procedures, and SOPs

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service; works with Pharmacists, Technicians, and PCRs to ensure patient care.
• Directs calls and routes to appropriate Partner using established strategies.
• Receives and processes prescriptions and refill numbers; maintains Will-Call and RXEVO records.
• Handles Rx paperwork; ensures correct delivery to patients and proper sign-offs.
• Performs POS transactions and maintains accuracy of pharmacy records.
• Assists with Rx screening events, flu shot scheduling, and MTM activities.
• Maintains inventory; verifies deliveries and stock levels.
• Ensures HIPAA/privacy and SOP compliance; supports sanitation and organization.
