Designer Drugs Labs seeks a Director of Business Development to lead a high-performing BD team in Chattanooga, TN, driving growth, partnerships, and market expansion. You’ll align commercial initiatives with operations and leadership while building scalable processes and strong customer relationships.

The role requires 10+ years in sales with 5+ years in leadership, strong contract negotiation skills, and experience in healthcare or pharmacy industries.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive sales experience with a track record in business development and revenue growth.
• 5+ years in sales leadership leading high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in contract negotiation to structure long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing business development team.
• Develop and execute the business development strategy for revenue growth and market expansion.
• Establish sales goals, metrics, and forecasting processes.
• Recruit, onboard, and mentor business development professionals.
• Drive growth of key accounts and strategic partnerships.
• Identify new market opportunities and customer segments.
• Expand products and services within existing accounts through consultative selling.
• Monitor pipeline activity, conversion metrics, and revenue performance.
• Implement and maintain sales processes and CRM standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Lab, Marketing, and Leadership to align initiatives.
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to guide strategy.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Support lead generation and customer engagement with Marketing.
• Represent the company at meetings and industry events.
• Lead continuous improvement to enhance customer experience and growth.
