CommonSpirit Health's Westminster hospital seeks a Pharmacy Automation Coordinator to lead the ADC system, ensuring compliant and efficient medication distribution.

You will manage controlled substance inventory, resolve discrepancies, and serve as the liaison between Nursing, Pharmacy, and the ADC vendor, safeguarding legal records. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to train staff and troubleshoot system changes to optimize automation.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent hospital pharmacy experience.
• Registered Pharmacy Tech in the state of employment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations.
• Experience with automated hospital pharmacy procurement systems.
• Ability to develop strategies to address medication shortages.
• Knowledgeable about ADC hospital-based automated distribution.

Responsabilités

• Monitor controlled substances; document, follow up and alert leadership on discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot all ADC stations including security and system upgrades.
• Coordinate and maintain accurate inventory of controlled substances.
• Serve as liaison between Nursing and Pharmacy for problem solving; update managers regularly.
• Produce ADC compare reports; review ADC and CII safe reports and storage records.
• Process and ensure compliant dispensing to internal and external departments.
