Qualifications
- Licensed NYS Pharmacist with hospital experience.
- Minimum 6 years as a hospital pharmacist.
- 10 years in pharmacy automation or IT related to pharmacy.
- Clinical applications certification or equivalent required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee IS resources to support pharmacy software implementation and maintenance.
- Design and implement EMR and Clinical Decision Support for medications.
- Manage pharmacy chargemaster and financial systems accuracy.
- Collaborate with IT and clinical staff on interfaces with automation devices.
- Provide reports to support improvement initiatives and resource allocation.
- Lead staff scheduling, training, and competency assessments.
