Job summary

ARxIUM INC, based in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize automated pharmacy systems at customer sites across the region. This role requires hands-on technical work, frequent travel, and strong customer interaction to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operation.

You will collaborate with engineering and support teams, document service activities, and deliver exceptional service while navigating a fast-paced, regulated healthcare

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Computers, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of field service, maintenance, or technical support experience supporting complex electro‑mechanical systems.
• 7+ years of customer-facing technical service experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
• Preferred: Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair ARxium hardware and software systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency service calls and system outages.
• Troubleshoot complex electro‑mechanical, electrical, networking, and software issues.
• Support PLC programming validation and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with customers to schedule maintenance and minimize operational disruptions.
• Document service activity through accurate reporting, ticket updates, and work summaries.
• Manage service tickets, escalations, and open issues through resolution.
• Partner with internal engineering, technical support, and project teams.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience during every interaction.
• Participate in after-hours support as needed.
