Intermedia Group Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support pharmacy automation systems across hospital, retail, and long-term-care sites in the Philadelphia region.

The role requires on-site visits, preventive maintenance, and on-demand repairs to ensure system uptime and customer satisfaction. The candidate will install, calibrate, and diagnose complex dispensing equipment, provide staff training, and document all service activity.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in medical devices or pharmacy automation.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and MS Office; able to edit and manage configuration/XML files.
• Solid computer networking knowledge (TCP/IP, IP config, routers/switches) and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for pharmacy automation systems, including break/fix and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot complex systems with hardware diagnostics and mechanical/electromechanical repair to maximize uptime.
• Deliver training to pharmacy staff on system operation and service requests within SLA; document resolutions in system.
• Assist with installations, commissioning, and upgrades; record service activities in Salesforce Field Service Lightning.
• Travel regionally, including overnight stays, and contribute feedback to engineering and quality teams.
